Global search solution to support the hiring of a Global Sales Director to drive new territory growth within Oil Solutions sector
After expanding their presence across the Middle East a Global Energy business required exceptional leadership to drive new acquisitions across the newly acquired territories. Cogito were selected to provide a data driven executive search solution to not only provide suitable candidate but to also present data and competitor intelligence to shape the reporting structure, remuneration, responsibilities and deliverables for the newly created role.
Cogito’s search strategy covered Europe, the US and Middle East markets. Focusing upon current incumbents of similar roles in target businesses Cogito’s research team set about identifying and engaging with those in comparable posts through multiple channels.
Through in-depth video interviews with a pool of geographically disperse candidates Cogito collated data on average team sizes, reporting lines, responsibilities, remuneration, demographics, and other contextual information. This then formed the insights report which was presented in a face to face session with senior stakeholders in the client’s organisation.
Following a review of the interested candidates 6 were selected to bring to interview. Due to the geographically disperse nature of the talent pool, Cogito managed the selection process, ranging from the creation and dissemination of competency questions to the administration of psychometric profiles and scheduling of interviews.
Following a competitive and in-depth recruitment process the client was confident in making an offer of employment to a candidate as well as being armed with a wealth of data to help shape and define the newly created role and financial package.
